Buddha is not god and son of god. Buddha is not incernation of any god and prophet. However, the Buddha is a superme human being. he attained full Enlightenment and final Deliverance by his own effort and wisdom.The Buddha became a peerless teacher of gods and men.
Buddha is not honorific name; it means knower or enlightened one. His personal name was siddhattha and his clan name was Gotama.
